Rare and superb vintage dress from Azzedine Alaia, circa early to mid 1980s. Luxurious medium-weight black wool sack style dress that is both effortless and chic, while flattering all body types. Bottom trim incorporates a gorgeous brass & silver grommet/eyelet detail that spans the entire bottom. Wide, semi-cropped sleeve. Pockets at hips. Perhaps the first use of the grommet details that would become an Alaia staple.
